SpiceJet to start Ahmedabad- Muscat non-stop flights

New Delhi, July 30, 2013: : SpiceJet, India’s most preferred low cost airline has commenced sale of tickets for its latest international flight on the Ahmedabad-Muscat route.

SpiceJet has been rapidly expanding its global footprint in the recent past by the addition of several foreign cities in the Middle Eastern and Asian regions on to its network. Muscat will be the ninth international destination to be served by SpiceJet. The launch of a new direct flight between Muscat, the capital city of Oman and Ahmedabad, the capital city of the State of Gujarat, will improve connectivity between two thriving centers for trade and commerce.

The airline is offering an introductory fare of just Rs 5999/- one way (inclusive of all taxes) on this route. Fares being offered by SpiceJet for Ahmedabad-Muscat flight are the most competitive in the industry. Travelers planning for a trip between Ahmedabad and Muscat can now book ticket though SpiceJet official website ( ) or via toll free reservations by dialing 1800 180 3333 or through several online portals and travel agents.

Commercial flights on the Muscat-Ahmedabad route will start from August 29, 2013 and the service will be operated thrice a week on a 189 seater Boeing 737-800 New Generation aircraft.
